Christina Aguilera's Boyfriend Will Not Be Charged With DUI

Christina Aguilera’s boyfriend Matthew Rutler will not face prosecution on a DUI charge after he was found to be within drink-drive limits following his arrest last month.

The pop superstar and her lover were detained by Los Angeles police after cops allegedly spotted their car being driven erratically through West Hollywood.

The singer was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, but was later released without charge, while Rutler was booked on an allegation of driving under the influence.

Rutler now looks set to escape prosecution after the L.A. County District Attorney rejected the case, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports Rutler’s blood alcohol content at the time of his arrest was determined to be .06, which falls under California’s legal limit to operate a vehicle of .08.
